Google Partner Status

Mostly Marketing Ltd is fully accredited as a Google Partner. What does that mean?

To achieve Google Partner status requires 3 elements:

1. Certifications

  • Google Adwords – Advertising Fundamentals: Passed first time May 2014
  • Google Adwords – Advanced Search: Passed first time May 2014

2. Best Practices

  • High performance keeps customers happy and improves companies’ standing as a Google Partner
  • This means excellent customer care values

3. Minimum Spend on AdWords

  • Measures the spend activity over a 90 day period, which must reach 10k USD or equivalent

Mostly Marketing manage PPC (Google AdWords) for a number of clients, ranging from £200 to over £50k per month. Whatever the budget, the principles remain the same – using targeting, excellent ad copy, sensible budgeting and a range of other techniques to make clients’ budgets work as hard as possible in delivering quality leads.

google logoHaving attended the Google Partners conference in Manchester this week, I was finally motivated to spend a few hours studying and sitting the Google Exams. What a way to spend a sunny bank holiday weekend!

Happily I can say I passed both first time:

  • Advertising Fundamentals
  • Advanced Search

Being part of the Google Partners scheme and having 2 exams passed should mean the agency is well on the way to becoming a fully accredited Google Partner, quite an achievement.

Actually we have been running google PPC campaigns for a number of years, but it’s nice to have the qualifications to prove our ability and have the big G’s official approval.

Happy New Year Again

mostly marketing 2015The New Year is a time for reflection and for Mostly Marketing, New Year also marks the start of our another year in business.

From humble beginnings, the agency has become quite a force, with clients across the country and even some overseas.

  • We’ve developed many, many new websites
  • Via SEO plans, seen clients double their SEO traffic
  • Managed PPC campaigns from £100 to £80,000 per month
  • Created new branding and imagery
  • Produced high quality print material
  • Issued press releases with thousands and thousands of impressions

But above all the specifics, what’s nice is to know that we’re our client’s ‘go-to’ agency for any business advice. When they just want to bounce around an idea or pick a brain, it’s us they call.

We’re flattered and the variety of queries certainly means that no two weeks are ever the same.

So we start the coming year feeling very grateful for the success we’ve enjoyed so far and wondering what new clients and challenges the year will bring.

The Mostly Marketing Story

As a welcome to my website, I thought I’d kick off with an explanation of how Mostly Marketing came about…

I’ve been working for 20 years now client-side for some of the country’s leading brands and top companies.  In that time, I’ve done everything there is to do in marketing terms and spent over 10 years working at senior board level.  However, in December 2010 I was offered an opportunity to move from an employed position as Marketing Director, to a freelance consultancy contract; enabling me to establish and build a freelance marketing consultancy business with a number of clients.

With extensive corporate experience in a number of companies, my experience means that I can quickly appraise what’s needed and offer realistic, affordable solutions.

However, what really makes me tick, is delivering marketing that works.  That means getting on with lots of activity to create customer response and build your business.

I have been working freelance since January 2011 and am proud to have a good bank of clients, most of whom have been working with me for a number of years.
